Thanks to my good friend Chef Carlin Breinig of Home Cooking Personal Chef Service, I get invited to a great event each summer: judging the teams of teen cooks that she’s been coaching through the Cook’s Warehouse Teen Cooking Camps.
There were three teams this year with the names Power Chef Girls, Ecclectic Cooks, and A Cut Above the Rest. Each served us an appetizer, entree and side dish, and dessert.

The Ecclectic Cooks pulled it out for a squeaker of a win, their Peach Upside-Down Cake being the tipping point! Thanks to The Cook’s Warehouse for sponsoring, and to Chef Carlin for inviting me back.
All in all, it was a delicious job, and one I look forward to next year!
From the pics and the smile on your faces, it looked like the kids did a great job and had a good time! BTW, Did you happen to get the recipe for the Upside down Peach Cake? Great Job!
