Ingredient and Equipment List  – Knife Skills

This is a Sample Ingredient and Equipment List. Each class will get a customized list once the menu is set and any dietary challenges are accounted for.

Fresh Ingredients

  • 2 carrots (per person)
  • 2 stalks celery (per person)
  • 6 roma tomatoes (or 2 per person)
  • 1 bell pepper
  • 1 red onion
  • 1 bunch cilantro
  • 1 jalapeño pepper
  • 1 lime
  • 1 container chives
  • 1 pt. sour cream

Pantry Ingredients

  • 1 bag “scoops” type corn chips
  • Mayo
  • oil and vinegar 

Equipment

  • All of your knives.  Get them all out!
  • Honing Steel
  • Vegetable Peeler
  • Microplane or fine grater
  • Cutting Board
  • Paper Towels
  • Medium mixing bowl
