Feeling sluggish after being indoors for over a year?  Trying to lose those “Covid-19” pounds?  Trying to kick the pandemic blues?  Self-care is super important!   Join Chef Christy as she explores the skills, equipment, and stores you need to survive and thrive!

This 6-week virtual class utilizes Zoom and Google Classroom to come into your own kitchen at home, and allows you to tailor your shopping lists to your particular needs and tastes.


Week 1                       Knife Skills, Fresh Veggie Salads, Seasonal Foods

Week 2                       Proteins, Food Labels, Portion Control, Reading Recipes

Week 3                       Healthy Carbs, Grains and Grain Replacements

Week 4                       Snacks, Sweets and Comfort Foods

Week 5                       Soups and Sauces, Menu Planning, Well-Stocked Pantry

Week 6                       Eggs, Dairy, Oils, Fats, and Seasonings
